1st Annual Kansas Masters BBQ Championship, Wichita, KS was held
the weekend of June 4-5, 2004.
According
to the Wichita Eagle, "...The irresistible smell of wood smoke drew an
estimated 1,000 people to Lawrence-Dumont Stadium to sample the meats
of several of the 15 teams in the contest..."
